And just to make it crystal-clear that I get it: There will be 12 fruits, 3 rows of 4. We'll post our fruit salads in a system where we simply post the number of the three involved, i.e. one two ten two five seven two ten twelve etc. One post, multiple, doesn't matter, I assume. Once we feel we've found 'em all, we post the wordfilter in our challenge thread to get the next set of fruits. Once we do that, all our posts are for THAT set, so effectively, we can't go back once we've moved on. This is done until we post the last wordfilter, which I assume has a 'completion image', or 15 minutes passes. +1 point for all correct fruit salads, -1 for any fuckups. All that correct? Everything there is correct, except there's no completion image. The last set will just come with a message saying it's the last one. |

Then how do you finish before 15 minutes? Is it just if you managed to find every single fruit salad, your time stops early?

Or is your time decided by last post, I.E. if my last fruit was acquired at 11 minutes in, then that's my 'time', so to speak.

I think it was 6 -> 5 -> 4 -> 3
I got 5, 4, 4, 3. So only two off from max, if I'm not mistaken? Good, but super super beatable. Just gotta hope that either A. Yoshi was TOO thorough and missed out on later fruits because of it, or B. too lax and missed a few more on the way. I figured it would be 6 to 3, too, but I didn't wanna linger too much. Finished with like, 2 minutes to spare, so I was probably right?

Was it like, 7 -> 6 - 4 -> 3 or something? I stupidly assumed it was one less each time, though I guess I'm glad I didn't play around that or I'd have done even worse.

Honestly, I think Falco had the right idea. Bidding high on Attack to clear out challenges you don't wanna do was probably the play. Then maybe all my best comps would've still been around when it was my time to go in.  Still don't really get why they threw me in twice in a row, but I guess it be like that. It's weird to be such a target when... I don't really feel like I fucked anything up? I mean, I dunno, maybe people realized how leaky I was, but it kinda just felt like I got targeted for just being more around than Dedede or something. And no one really cared to fill me in. Maybe it's just 'cuz of how poorly I got along with Wario. That could've done it. |

Damn, then I really choked the first two sections. Oh well. Pretty good score for someone who'd never tried this type of puzzle before today. Maybe I do slightly better if I practice more, but eh. I'm happier just getting it out of the way. There's other, easier regrets. Like not getting the first Smash Ball way back when. Could've changed so much. Guessed Balloon Fight instead of Nintendogs, probably the only thing that stopped me from snagging it just before Wario.

God, I really did peak in that game, challenge-wise. I'm so fucking un-clutch in comps these days, it's really frustrating as someone with middling-at-best social/strategic games. Comps were all I had, man. Ah, well. Means I have more time for Cyberpunk, so it's not all bad. |
