Green team is probably perceived as the tightest team by the others, which would make it highly unlikely that other competitors will come here. I'm always keen for people to join the Green Kingdom, but chances are low at this stage. Wario has some crazy plan to send himself in, which is fine by me, since it's him and not me. I'm not lining up to make such moves with 20 people left in the game. Making everyone feel like he is their number one ally has backed him in to a corner where he's having to show his hand this early, and to avoid doing that he's going to go into The Ring himself. Feel like he is getting cold feet though and may back out, we shall see how the afternoon pans out.

Our overplaying warlord, Wario has had his wish granted of getting voted into the Ring. He was trying to pull out of the plan mid afternoon, but Dark Pit and myself were having none of it, and made sure that he was going in whether he liked it or not, thankfully he liked it. So let us now see what the little fella has when it comes to challenges. I had earlier in the day promised Marth safety if he came over here, because at the time Wario was volunteering to go in to the arena. So if Wario went back on this and they wanted to throw Marth back in, then that would've looked poorly on my part. For whatever reason Marth was brought in on Wario's 'genius' plan, and there is now a 7 person coalition working together. How do 7 people work together? It's definitely not going to last. Thankfully with Dark Pit as my closest ally, we should be all over any plans that happen to arise from the 7.

New group I'd be comfortable working with would be Dark Pit, King R. Rool, and Marth. I could work with Link too, but just feel like he is drinking too much of the Wario coolaid, and will be doing whatever Wario says. Kazuya is awkward to talk with, so whilst I still feel like we're on good terms, it's just hard to build a strong solid working relationship with Kaz.

Mario messages me a lot, don't know what to make of this. I tried to trick him with the sandbags last round, so now I have gone back to him and told him how they actually work, to make me look like a good King. Think the poor bloke is just a victim of lateness to the party, and everyone just keeps chucking him in. I do hope he gets a run at it somewhere, since I feel like I haven't completely burnt any bridges with him.

Was awesome that no one went to Blue last round, from outside looking in, I still believe them to be a tight bunch. If they could just become completely decimated that would be fantastic. I believe if Richter won the challenge tomorrow, he'd go right back to blue. So we could have a scenario where both survivors return to their teams.

Wario is starting to get weary of Dark Pit. Has heard from Falco that DP mentioned Wario was overplaying. It's definitely safe to assume that Dark Pit and Wario will never work together or compare notes on me, so I can keep one in each palm of my hands. Both would feel certain that I am their number one ally. King K. Rool would also feel like I am his number one. I've told Link that we can start fresh and that we are now unsuspected allies moving forward, and I doubt Marth has talked to anyone else on green more than he has to me so far. Life is pretty good on green for me currently, let's hope that a few agree to go into battle in the coming days, then I can just sit back and take it easy and just keep my bonds stable and not have to show my hand by voting.

How are you feeling about the new team compositions? Where do you stand on former team loyalty compared to 'starting fresh' on Pink?

Has anyone on Pink Team (new or familiar) surprised you thus far?

Good day to you there Sandbag.

The new team seems to suit me pretty well. I see a clear path to the merge, whilst not having to do much at all. I have my strong alliance with Dark Pit, and from there we have both collaborated with the two of Samus and Robin in the Spectator Stands. It seems like a natural group to form and work together. The next five votes could all occur on Pink and it not be any of us four going to the ring. The question I have to ask myself though is this easy road going to be satisfying enough, or do I go to Duck Hunt, King R. Rool, Mario, and Falco and form a new alliance of 5 to take over the Pink team. A sort of uprising by the duds if you will, with me ruling over them. Issue with this plan is I will piss off three people immediately, and I will become a threat a long way out from the end of the game, meaning I could be targeted at any stage.

Welcome to the merge 🥳 Lookin' large and in charge.

How do you feel the swap went for you? Do you think you were able to make enough connections to feel comfortable at the Free-For-All?

How important are the various team loyalties? Are people still thinking in terms of Red/Blue/Green/Pink/Yellow (+/- any duel mutinies) or is this Free-For-All shaping up to be just that. Free For All.

Apologies quite slack with the updates.

Let's go back to my rulership of the Pink Kingdom.

Rocking up on Pink things seemed to be easy for me to get to the merge. Things turned out to be very boring for me though, and I found myself in the middle of Robin/Samus/Pitt and Falco/Twins. Really didn't know which way to vote that round, so I ended up not voting at all, whilst telling both sides I was voting with them. Had a massive day on the piss for my draft that day so couldn't be around at all. So decided I'd not vote and claim that I voted in the wrong thread, so it would not be known whom I sided with. Turned out that Samus didn't even rock up, and everyone piled on Samus, so it ended up as a good result, as if I'd voted for Falco I would've had a lot of explaining to do.

From there Robin volunteered to be the vote, which is always cool when someone does that. I decided to play my part in trying to exterminate the weed by going big on the challenge and gifting Robin the challenge of their choosing. Asked the weed which challenge it wanted too, and Combo Locks was its second choice, so I felt like if the weed were to win, it would've thought I did it a solid too. Robin wins and we enter merge together.

Merge so far:
Main agenda for me was building a quick bond with players I've yet to deal with in the game. These players included Captain Flogo, and Squirtle. So exchanging a large amount of messages in a quick amount of time with these two was the key play for me. For whatever reason I offered Captain Flogo a deal where we keep each others names out of it, and also a F3 deal, I think it's just a reflex thing where I offer such deals. So hopefully the person I was least connected to would keep my name out of the light, when in reality they'd have every reason to throw it out there.

Other things that needed to be done were reconnect with KKR, Wario, and Kazuya, both as a group and individually. Managed to bond with KKR over mutual hatred for Falco. Cleared the air and played down the deal that was done between Robin/Samus way back when KKR was voted out. Wario was probably most happiest to see me since he thinks everyone is against him, and that i'll have his back. Basically gave him the same deal as I did with Captain Flogo, that we should keep each other's names out of the gun. He is most worried about a Kazuya and Dark Pitt alliance that doesn't include him, which is fine by me, if he wants to go against them, then I'll have the choice where I sit, so information should be coming in around me.

I do hope that the free for all is going to be a free for all. I'll be more than happy to change up which sides I vote with round after round. This round trying to get a Yoshi v P&M duel is my main preference, since Yoshi is the person here I have no connection with at all, and there is no point in trying to find one. P&M going in is ok with me too since it weakens Falco a bit, and it hopefully means Blue is not together.

can completely disregard the above now. No point planning ahead, just going to be a round by round proposition from here on out.

Wario is the craziest player I've encountered for some time. He's sloppy and he doesn't care. It's amazing. The fact that he thinks everyone should play his game makes me laugh every time. I'm just super loyal these days so couldn't burn Dark Pit and Robin, even if it places me in a bad spot if Dark Pit loses the duel. I was impressed with how Wario was able to get the pieces in place for his plan to come off in such a small amount of time, shame for him though that Robin outed it to us and we could counter it. If Dark Pit comes back it should be Robin/Pit/Kaz/Me against Yoshi/Wario/Captain/Squirtle with Falco floating, but hopefully wanting to gun for Yoshi and break up Cap/Squirt more than wanting to break my group. It should mean either side gets to send in someone for the next couple of rounds.
