I will now reveal the stage on which will battle for your survival in this game (or just what team you join, in one case).

The following stages were banned...

Frigate Orpheon
Mario Galaxy

This leaves Piranha Plant a whopping 19 stages to choose from. Piranha Plant has selected...

I will sticky this thread in the Stage Select screen for you all to review the rules. When you want to complete the duel, you should add yourself to the Dracula's Castle group I will make available shortly. You will then see a Duel subforum containing a thread with the duel inside. Your time will start from the moment you join the group!

Duelists must not discuss the duel amongst themselves until I have revealed the outcome, and the rest of you must not attempt the duel until then as well!

I will need a little longer to set this duel up, so I will tag the duelists again once I am done! It should take about 30 minutes.

Mario Yoshi Ike Piranha Plant

I have the results of the duel; scroll down to find out who survived to make it to a team, and who is the first player eliminated from Super Smash Arena: Ultimate.

Piranha Plant has won the duel, with a score of 16 consecutive correct answers! They have elected to join the Blue Team. In second place, was

Yoshi! He scored 8 consecutive correct answers, and he will join the Red Team! This leaves just Ike, and Mario. The final player to survive The Ring, and joining the Green Team, is...

Mario has come third, with a score of 5 consecutive correct answers!

This means that with no consecutive correct answers, I'm sorry to say that Ike is the first player eliminated from Super Smash Arena: Ultimate. I will give him a few moments to say his goodbyes, before moving him to the KO'd section.

The deadline for votes and card plays for the round is at 7:50 pm tonight. Note that since Piranha Plant is immune, two players on the Blue Team will be safe at the vote.
