Hoping for a BIG BLUE confessional later today where I'll go into more detail, but... Just an odd mix of players, and the only obvious boot is immune. So lines will have to be drawn here, and you have to set yourself up to survive potentially 5 votes on this team, not just one or two. Falc going to pink was probably a good thing for me, but I might have told him too much lol that he could now use against me, such as a potential plan to lure duellists over here. Think I got a bit too fast and loose with my trust in him. No one has really surprised me here, DK is pretty short in messages, which is fine, but hard to get a read on him. Everyone else is about what I would expect. I'm gonna feel dumb if Yoshi is just some troll here to fuck shit up, but I am hoping our agreement to warn each other about votes works out. Getting a few sketchy vibes from Wario, and don't really know where Marth falls in all this. Wario framing me as the 5th to Squirtle is a huge red flag, of course. If this 5 went ahead, I'd be relying on duellists coming here, or perfectly timed SHIELD bids, and I'm not comfortable with that. Kinda thinking that if Squirt and I have eggs, DK has an egg, well, us and Yoshi could sail to merge here. I really don't get good enough vibes from Wario or Kaz to throw my lot in with them. But Squirt might wanna go the safe route, so, let's see. I have to trust Squirtle at this point, have to trust that the twins and Falc didn't sell me out to Squirt, have to just trust! Gonna be paranoid that I'm being led down the garden path for the rest of my time here after that first week, so... I have to work within this sense of blissful ignorance, and if I'm lied to, I'm lied to? If I'm that far out of the loop-de-loop at this stage, even if I was fully aware of it, I am not going to be winning this game regardless lol. Ykwim? So may as well just play with what I think I have instead of constantly worrying if it's all an illusion. I'd like to think merge is possible now, but I also suspect I'll be sent into the arena in the first few rounds of the merge tbh since I'm a pretty easy target, and won't have connections to the major players on the other side. But just gonna keep cruising by for as long as I can get away with it! Okay maybe you're getting the detail now.  |

Dear god Yoshi lol.
Saw and replied to Marth's message, and I feel good about him here. I'd honestly rather go the DK/Yosh route with Squirt and Marth, but if Squirt and Marth feel better about the green boys, well as long as we can tighten up as a three we should be just fine either way. CORE THREE right there. To me.
But Yoshi trying to force this is... well, good on him for taking charge. I did not lead him on nearly enough to jump to this conclusion surely? Like what part of a general "I'd be happy to work with anyone at this stage" means, put me in an alliance with whoever you've decided should be in it right this moment. Did he take it literally? Like Yoshi that is generic newly swap tribe chatter I didn't mean go pick out whoever you want and I'll be happy with it. Maybe overstated how uncomfortable I was feeling but still.
Feel like Marth and Squirt are gonna back off from this, and so it creates a messiness that might be a huge headache. Since DK/Yosh are gonna have the ammo to throw us under the bus if we don't go with this. In that case, DK needs to go first so we can still control Yoshi's vote lol.
Honestly kinda wanna boot Wario and Kaz though. Wario, just too sketch for me. Maybe I'm being unfair and letting others cloud my judgement on him, but framing me as 5th in the alliance to Squirt is a no-no. And Kaz is being kind of annoying. I get he's in character, but like dude you have told me ZILCH about the green dynamics, stop demanding I spell out every aspect of my TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE on blue in grave detail like I'm some court jester here to entertain you. So kinda wanna side with DK the one sentence legend and Yoshi king of inventing an in-game currency that only exists in his mind and that everyone including myself is going along with for some absurd reason. It's camp and my entire storyline has been camp so idk.
There is the whole red thing and red controlling Yoshi and w/e but there's also a green thing so... it's a risk either way. I kinda want potential challenge flops like DK (speculating here obv) if I need to try and drag someone in with me. Maybe when I'm more sober I'll have more clarity lol.

Lol DK is kinda precious, I have a soft spot for one sentence kings ngl, and straight up asking if I have an egg lol. And I told him the truth because you know what, these eggs literally mean nothing and I refuse to acknowledge them as some kind of legitimate game mechanic.

THE CAPTAIN is the belle of the ball.  Literally nfi which way to turn. Maybe the 5 with Kaz + Wario would be the best bet, since I don't know how we'd get any most merge loyalty out of DK and Yosh. Also- I'd expect Marthy wants to stick with the green boys and we can't be pushy with him here. Problem is THE CAPTAIN could be sitting on the bottom there, as I brought up before. It's a riskier path to merge, but better optics once at merge. Whereas the other path is the opposite.

This could get dicey if DK/Yosh and Wario/Kaz compare notes. I'm the only blue here, and I've got to run right now. We haven't agreed on exactly how and what we're telling the yellow boys so this could be trouble. Had to give Yosh some kinda forewarning. Hope Squirt shows up to mitigate this, yikes!
Anyways gotta run, let's hope this doesn't blow up.
Also feel kinda bad for DK, he's a sweetheart and ugh I feel horrible when it's someone like that who seems kinda new and is just trying his best.
