It'd be even nicer if she could convince me I was also her fourth and last as she did a lap of all the others.

Things that fuel my paranoia #248: I ask Pit about clues and he gives me clue #2. Yet he's been in there three times since the shuffle.

At least if Samus stays offline all night I won't feel too bad about sending a vote her way and the reasons for that.

I was going to post somewhere publicly about how Mario passed me on the Shield after saying he wouldn't, but if Gold want to get two days of thinking I needed it, maybe that will stay on their minds in the future.

Congrats me on Jury & probably merge I suppose?

Also I told Pit it's better for him to go back to the stands and get the next clue, instead of me getting another one he already had. For the Smashball in my possession

I wouldn't have minded chatting with Squirtle mind you.

Dang, asking Pit to get the next clue may have backfired whoops.

He is still talking about only the third clue. Have I miscalculated that some way or is he stringing me along. I had to fess up. I could have not, and left it a mystery where it landed, but ehhhh, I think telling him now (though a tad later than when I got it) is better off.

I figure I'll blow it in the merge round anyway, just for the peace of mind of immunity while we figure out where all the dust is settling.

Also I love this gif of Samus', a fine gif for my collection. And posting it is a nice little nod to her if she sees.

I never told her in advance I was voting for her. I hope she doesn't hold that against me. I did warn her twice before that how she could be in trouble and the later of those was unanswered, so it's not like it was a vicious blindside.

I did at least tell Robin last thing last night what I was doing. He has some confusion about whether Dede & Samus voted each other or self-voted. Since I know about Dede's prevote, that indicates how early we were all talking about doing Samus, so I've just glossed over the mention and if he wants to talk to Dede about it, I'll worry about it then.

And with my own spot in the merge locked in place thanks to those bargains, my mind does turn to merge plans, but lets save that for another post.. there's still this round to get through. My to-do list looks something like:

1) Decide if I'm splurging on a Shield for the merge round & immediate peace of mind, or if I want to hold onto that for the single digit rounds.

2) Work Pit/Myrtle in a way that it doesn't look like I was stringing them along after I already had it hours before. By the time they hear from Kazuya, hopefully the timing of it is a non-issue.

3) Build these bonds hard.

 - 3a)I'm doing that with Pit right now through planning. Feel like he's let his guard down with me finally - after "working" on the clues together and actually both making it to the end of this tribe.

 - 3b) I see now that Robin is a lot more of an emotional player than I previously thought. I should tap into that.

 - 3c) Me & Myrtle are good. But I suppose a discussion is needed about how we're going to balance the Pink & Blue elements here.

 - 3d) Dededede. I give him stick but he did what he said he was doing yesterday. And he's always done that so far. He's my sleeper pick for the game-win here.Just the right amount of active, social and non-committal that he slides past the target a lot. I'm not sure how to progress this one to be fair. If Robin wasn't volunteering, I'd probably be looking to vote Dedede? So that shows our level of closeness.

 - 3e) I've done what I can with Samus, here's hoping she can both make it through the duel, and also start making a splash again

 - 3f) Pick Yoshi clean for info on Yellow. He loves to talk and divulge info. Well now is the time to cash in all my early convos with him for some info that I can actually use.

Oh the thought occurred, and I wanted to write it down somewhere. Wario being the Davetective makes a whole lot of sense in terms of playstyle.

Between having the Shield here and the merge incoming, I tried to NOT spend all day at the board today. Instead I tried to revisit the last two games of Arena I played. It's been a while. 2014 as Maylene & 2015 as Tira.

The goal was initially to see what I did wrong in those - placements were 6th place and 4th place respectively. In both I became a KNOWN challenge whore and trouble-maker and I was used as a bit of a pawn to keep taking people out until I was finally got. I would have won as Tira in the end with ease. idk with Maylene. The board is long gone so I only have the recaps to go on there. Curse my middle-age memory.

Anyways, I didn't end up drawing too many conclusions outside of "You can't win em all you cocky fuck" - but it was a fun afternoon walking through both. Tira was absolutely vile & OTT very much on purpose - always voting in the minority and getting all the losers cash on death for standing by them, doubling that with every bet and buying the shop out. One post-merge vote had pretty much half the votes cast by me Maylene was less controversial, but nearly as feisty. Teamed into a tight trio and fought tooth & nail for them.

That game had a cocky Captain Falcon too (Nick ) who I relentlessly bullied and made the minority vote for the first half of the game until eventually making him an ally. He had such a good emote too that I'd like to use, but I won't, because it's too specific & obviously from that game

The game in general was hilarious & everyone was post-whores and publicly cross posting exact votes counts to the other tribe & shit, it's a big part of why I love dA games.
