Only a minute behind the winning time for Ghibli, though I think that grid was more difficult. And a few minutes behind those who aced the LotR one but still way ahead of anyone who bombed or even Master Hand who was the only one anywhere in the middle, though that was significantly easier once we revamped it. I'd be cautiously optimistic if not for the fact that Robin intentionally picked this one. Guess I can just hope that my ID suspicions are wrong and they haven't played it before, just liked the concept. But it's certainly different enough from the one they wanted against teethplan though so I'm going to pick my usual default pessimism. At least I'll get to sleep over the weekend. |

Squirtlewhooooooops forgot the whole keep track of duels and playing friendlies for the express purpose of sizing up the competition thing. Probably should have put more weight on being 10min faster than Robin on combolocks and possibly staying that way for this too. Oh well, it was definitely healthier to make peace with the potential loss and be pleasantly squirtlesurpried than the other way around. Now somebody quickly edit out the s from the topic! Wrong kind of optimism! |

Shouldn't have put the last S in the thread title!  Posting this list of kirby-related words I tried to practice with before Lost For Words here because I meant to do it earlier, and it's a commitment to prepare just as much for this next duel. I've asked Yoshi to put skyloft first but fully expect the captain to ban that given my success with Lost For Words. Second choice would in a vacuum possibly be spiral mountain as while I expect I could do better at paper mario and barrel blast, both are finnicky in that one missed image could throw me off long enough to lose, or the new one could be more foreign to me than I anticipate. But against Falco I'm confident in my ability to image puzzle, given his unfamiliarity with proboards which I gladly noted down during the first round. I don't think anyone has as much experience with proboards preview mode as I do, and it's something I can easily practice for hours before doing the real duel. |
