I could NOT with DK for the first round or two but then suddenly randomly adored him? Idk it was weird. A pity I didn't get to play with him more.

Masahiro Sakurai Gerald! You started slowly in this context where everyone leads with fun shticks, and I was a bit worried for you early on. You did amazingly in endearing yourself Red's power players in Robin and Samus over time, and you went from a contender for first-boot to comfortably avoiding duelling for the entire phase. Then what was your reward for playing so well? Why, getting swapscrewed horribly, of course! With one of the more lop-sided duel outcomes of the game it was a bit of a whimper to end on, but you got a nice little arc and did yourself proud in that time, and that's all you can really ask for. Master Hand I think your successes before the switch goes to show how simple likability and reliability, traits you've had both times I've seen you play, can serve someone so well in games like these. It was fun to watch you gradually figure out the quirks of the format and the players surrounding you It was very different to what you've used to but you were adapting hella well, only for that disastrous swap outcome occured It wasn't meant to be this time but you definitely have what it takes to go all the way in these. Sandbag NOOOO! Oh man you were just finding your footing. As soon as you started ingratiating into Robin/Samus' core I thought you were a sleeper pick to win. You had that rock solid communication style that people were starting to vibe with, but a generally nonthreatening presence. Combined with your challenge prowess you could've probably made it reasonably deep without duelling and potentially become a grinder for people to lose against, maybe even making f3. There was so much potential here and it was just cut off by the survey and a really bad swap taking you away from all your allies. You are the biggest "what could've been" from the cast (even moreso than Richter imo) and I'm bummed your run was cut short.
Brady Kong! I really thought you were going to be the first boot when this game began, as people originally weren't connecting with you, but as time went on you were able to win them over and ended Red as one of the safest players! It was impressive and I was rooting for you, but a swapfuck without any prior allies besides maybe Yoshi just doomed you and you were cut loose. Very sad to see, but I'm glad you at least lasted through that first week!
The main struggle you seemed to face was that with message length, but that may just be something you get better in as time goes on. With newbie games everyone's kinda at the same one line level, but diving from that into full on games is a massive difference and it can take time to get used to it. But I'm sure once you get past that hurdle you'll be great and be slaying games left and right Son of a bitch, eh! (This will make a sense a soon!)

Masahiro Sakurai You did Team Condes proud, Des, and I'm so glad that you were a part of another of my ORG firsts! Your shtick was really funny using a character that is pretty much a blank slate, and you've really developed a knack for bringing those to life. You had a bit of a riches-to-rags story here, where you couldn't be as active in the tail end of the first week, and that loss of esteem in the eyes of Robin and Samus really haunted you through the remainder of your time in the game. Loved watching you try to switch things up on Pink though! You never take things lying down, and that always makes you incredible to watch, especially as an underdog. I'm sorry for the duel; it was definitely a bit too tough. I do have to say though, you sure could have used those high cards on Pink instead of on the least-active Red team. Master HandIn terms of character, I loved what you did with the Dog and Duck double play Intentional or not I felt like you used Dog to air out the more aggressive side of your ORG presence, while having Duck to keep yourself in check Your presence was essentially the letter U: Strong start and end with an admitted schedule lapse in the middle. We knew you would never leave quietly and were not disappointed. You're always good value every time you play. Sandbag What's that saying about an old dog? Man, I keep seeing you try different approaches to these games and they just keep not quite working out lol. I really enjoyed your schtick/dynamic, and letting Duck be the more vocal of the two was an inspired choice imo You fight so hard and I think if you were able to find that group of people that really click with you, you'd be able to take one of these games by storm but it just hasn't worked out. Still, you were great
I loved the return of the Pimento Strategy with those cards, it ended the same as last time with people just playing around it and bidding one above you for power, but still just as hilarious Duck Hunt had a great beginning and a great end, and that's what we should focus on. The start of the game you were one of the better players here, easily in the core of red and in no danger that first week, but I feel like maybe the lack of interesting developments there compared to red (well, besides the accidental 3-2-2 lol) kinda cut the wind out of your sails? And so during the swap you were doomed just by prior experiences sadly, but you still made a good push to come back from it that I thought was great to see! Just too late sadly.
I'll always be a Des cheerleader though, you'll get that win eventually I know it! Your social game has come up so much over time, and without that brief lull in activity you likely would've gone very far here.

Masahiro Sakurai Underdog god! Seeing you get bounced around from team to team after showing up late was amazing. You really took it with humour and had the hosts laughing a ton as you just got more and more jaded, scraping through so many duels on your way to finally finding a home on Red. As someone with an Italian background, the light comedy of incorporating various Google Translate-d insults at your various misfortunes really had me laughing a ton too. Appropriately for Mario, you were probably the big star of the game's first week! Unfortunately, you were pretty much used and abused throughout the swap by the Spectator Stands squad, which wasn't as good of a look. Funnily enough, I thought your last duel effort was your best, you just finally came up against some really strong competition. All in all, this was an iconic sophomore (?) game, and I hope to see you playing more and more! Master HandLike Wii Fit Trainer and Donkey Kong, it was great to see you sign-up for another ORG so soon after playing your first in this community. When you had the misfortune to keep getting revolving doored I was wary that would remain your fate and this experience may become an unfortunate one, but thankfully you were able to overcome that stigma. You definitely do have a natural aptitude for challenges, if this is how you are in your second ORG I can only imagine how you'll be soon enough. Loved the character play too, your diary entries in confessional are a must read Sandbag Dear a Mario It's a me, Sandbag. That day was a sad day. I was very yippee when you didn't have to duel, but was always yippoo when you did have to duel. You have a very interesting a take on the game and I would love a to pick a your brain some day on how you reached the conclusions you did. As fun as you were, the casts reactions to you were just as good and provided some much needed levity during the swap phase. I think a couple more games might see you finding more of your footing and figure out the flow of information. But until then it's a blast watching the journey!
Mario! I was rooting for you so much during that first week, you should not have been the first boot over Inactive Isabelle, though they didn't know at the time she wouldn't return. But your dueling back to back to back and barely living in 2nd every time was great, and I was so happy when you finally found your footing and survived a few rounds I think you took a bit too long to see that you weren't safe on Pink, but the fact that you even lasted as many votes as you did is a great showing imo, and 3 wins as a new player is nothing to sneeze at.
