1. What do you make of the Arena format and how will it impact on the way you choose to play?

2. What considerations came into play when you selected the Red Team?

Only being able to log in late last night I am still coming to grips with all the things including sandbags and attack cards and all the extra stuff.

As such I also haven't really had a chance to talk to people.

Already I'm not a fan of the duel personality/people type characters. It's just hard. I'd rather talk to one character, not 2.

And purely from the game itself I'm instantly not a dan of fire emblem characters or castle variables characters

I guess really it's just humans. Humans suck.
So my first port of call is to align with the animals and other characters.

Ill let you know more once I work out what is is I'm actually doing

So. After a full day my Initial thoughts.

Mario is boring af. He can go to another team. I really wanted to team up with him as well as number 1 and number 2. For fun speculation purposes I think its joey from Vietnam based on his journey to jury villa

Can't stand robin. Don't like the dual personalities. I know its part of the character. Doesn't mean I have to like it.

The same could be said for the duck hunt duo except I think the character will drop after a while once the game gets going. I'm still pretty keen on going anti human.
The way they talked about 80s games reminded me of the way 80s was described in battle of the bands. I speculate Dave aka ck


As such I think isabelle is great. Though as one of the nicer players in the game could also pose a threat. If others see that it would be good to use them as social shield

Thoughts so far.
Havent really felt ive made any solid connections. I felt good with isabelle but they disappeared (it's cara all over again)

Duck hunt.... I'm super cautious about the shield. Something up with them.

I like samus but yoshi lists them as the biggest talker...

Robins... kinda a jerk I don't need that really.

Wii fit... stone cold silence. Again I'm told they are chatty... where am i?

With little to go on i like Ike. Could be a good number.

Yoshi is way too connected. Has been able to tall to everyone for too long. And the whole weird egg thing. Its an interesting strat. He can think about its value in the ring.

Mario... reminds me if Simon, quiet.

Plant... hasn't said anything.... hmm might reach out

Actuakky no I won't. I don't want plant in my team as they have a shield which was why I didn't reach out originally. Keep them the hell away

so this game is really proving to be quiter interesting in the different strategies at play.

im most facinated by duck hunt and pirahna plant. the have both got a shield both rounds. duck hunt using fairly high value cards to do so, i assume the plant did the same thing? why

theories. they suck at challenges and just trying to make merge

they flat out stupid

they are taking the threat off themselves

the other thing im finding really interesting is people interpretations of the characters. particularly so many seem to be emphasising the jerk part of the character. so many of these characters are heros, not jerks. and i find it really facinating how people decide to treat thier characters.

like sure its funny, but at the same time, when trying to make alliances why be a jerk to that person.

its a weird concept. something that ive noticed a lot more in this game compared to the survivor game.

but maybe with the ability to save yourself in a duel maybe people arent caring about the alliance side of things.

ill continue to observe and make moves that are in my best interest, even though robin called me a dirty smelly ape, for now its better to be on the good side and have them as an ally.

Is there anybody on Red Team who you could say that you trust? Conversely, who on Read Team do you think trusts you the most?

What is your current attitude regarding The Ring? Do you want anyone in particular to join Red Team?

What do you make of the other two teams?

I trust samus. Currently the only one I trust. I have small portions of trust for robin.... I just don't like them but if trusting them helps the game gotta put emotions to the side sometimes which is not something I do often.

I think samus trust me as well. Pretty sure it's mutual.

Honestly wkuld love isabelle to come back but my doubts are pretty strong

As for the other teams. It sounds like I'm on the laid back casual team and I like that. I don't need a super serious team. Happy to just chill

Well fuck!

My entire team. Literally everyone in this game I've talked to is on the other team. All of them. What a horrific swap.

I'm gonna talk about pink team first.
With so many reds over there I would be highly surprised if they don't band together and pick off those from other teams I would be surprised.


As for my team. I'm already getting along with wario. Will see who else pipes up later on.

Falco seems cool too so hooefully they end up over here. I think yoshi will follow reds but who really knows what yoshi is doing.

I have zero interest in pyra mythra. They can stay the hell away
