First of all, I'm sure that King Dedede is Gerald/Brady and King K Rool is Dave/CK. Funnily enough the only reason Gerald and I were so adversarial was because we were on opposite tribes/alliances. I actually know that we'd work well together because we think similarly.
The arena format is a crazy variable and it's impacted my strategy already. I like how it's non-live, because my work schedule is all over the place. I'm just going into seven shifts straight of night shift. I think it's really interesting, and I'm curious to see how it plays out. I think I'm pretty good at some of the challenges, but I know there's people on here that have played multiple games on these forums and will absolutely blitz the challenges.
I selected green because it's my favourite colour. Along with purple. I knew I wanted to get people I got along with on the same tribe as me, so I suggested green. I got Kazuya, King Dedede and Dark Pit all on green team straight away. Also I suggested to both Link and King K Rool to join green. So I've basically engineered this entire team. The only odd plant out is plant boy. And he's the first to go.
Immediately I was drawn to King Dedede first. Him and I are on very similar wave lengths. Kazuya and I got along really well. Link and I had some fun conversations. Dark Pit is pretty cool. I'm glad we're all together.
There's nobody on this tribe that I'm unhappy to see. Even having a non entity like piranha plant is a blessing because it's an easy out. My immediate enemy in this game is Mario. I want him out so that I reign supreme.
For the sandbags, they don't matter at the moment. I'm in control. I've created multiple groups and I'm allied with everyone on the team. I'm not in danger. Myself, King Dedede, Kazuya and Dark Pit are the majority. We don't need to be immune, we don't care about the duel and the grab will only gain proper usefulness when there's another smash ball. I don't plan on using any. The only thing to keep in mind is that we need to snag the defence bag once we get down to 5 people on the tribe.
Also I got the smash ball. I don't know where the clue came from, I couldn't be bothered looking at the odd letters in the introduction because I was out and on my phone, I just used the clue that Dedede posted which was the odd thing out in the background. The only one I could see immediately that was out of place was the dog paw. And the answer was Nintendogs. Fucking hell I'm good at these games. I got it wrong at first because I didn't read that it had to be all caps, but then I got it. I'm too fucking good.

If you want to select a particular start time you can by right clicking on the video and selecting Copy Video URL at Current Time and using that address. |

I will harass Kim so there is a cool badge fitting for the best game ever  Unfortunately (fortunately), I'm not a Stranded mod so I can't really decide to give out badges. The winner will get the Site-Advertised ORG one that looks something like this:  If I make this a notable series it might get its own badge, but this took ages to put together so I wouldn't count it happening any time soon.  Love that you're thinking about what happens for the winner already though! |
