I just went and cleaned my entire apartment in a meager attempt to wash away the shame. It did not work but at least my apartment is clean.
Thank you for your understanding. You may think I would have my shit more together given how many of these games I have played but evidently you would be wrong. Add this to the list behind getting-drunk-and-self-voting-myself out, I suppose. I feel I have been so messy in this game already. Not at all what I intended. I was planning on being a srs bsns str8 up fax gamebot with a mild amount of snark to fit the character but instead have been a hilarious hodgepodge of liberally abusing a single point for an OTT shtick, haphazard strategy with little to no thought behind it and a comedy of basic errors.
The confessional was mostly deliberating between DK/Yoshi and Wii Fit/Duck Hunt. Samus has just told me to make the call in a transparent attempt to deflect blame onto me either way. I am thinking of booting Wii Fit just because her anti-Yoshi stance is annoying to me but we shall see what happens during the course of the day.

Mario making me feel so bad, lol. I actually DO want to vote for Wii Fit instead of him as well but I needed a proper plan to come together not a mad last minute scramble. I wasn't available much tonight and everybody seemed resigned to doing the easy thing anyway. Poor guy. I wonder if I can convince him to come back to red AGAIN so that we can pull it off for real next time?  |

Nooo Wii Fit Trainer  I know have been relentlessly shitting on her all game but she grew on me at the end. Her "FOR REVENGE, BASICALLY." moment was iconic and I couldn't even keep up with all her wild schemes that completely defied the rules as written today <3 I think I'm going to miss my red team. Not only have they allowed for the crusiest first week ever, they all have a special place in my heart. Mario with his one-liners, DK with how hilariously blunt he can be, Duck Hunt being a major player during the first round and then seemingly dipping out of existence entirely... :') |

Sorry, as full of expression as Crazy Hand is, Crazy Hand sometimes struggles to communicate complex questions with just their fingers. 1. Glad that we shame-coerced you to clean your apartment! Was it as messy as you claim to have been playing? 2. You said that you've found the first week to have been pretty cruisey. Is this because you had assumed strategic control over the Red Tribe or did it have more to do with the way other Red Team characters had played? 3. Every player other than King K Rool was in your top 7 cast selection preferences (in fact the only choice you didn't get was DK). Does this mean the Team swap went exactly the way you intended it to be? Does this mean you have complete control over the new Pink Team? 4. So far you've only played your two lowest Attack Cards. Is this because you don't think the Sandbags are valuable enough to bid on or do you have specific plans on when you'll use them? |

I have answers to those half written already but just wanted to quickly comment that I’m glad Yoshi got second place and went to yellow so that I don’t have to respond to his request to do a four red + Yoshi alliance here. Like, I get where he was coming from but… Lolno.

My apartment was not that messy, no. Not by my standards, at least. Basic human functions tend to go out the window once I get overly invested in these games so it is likely I will need another serious shaming in a week or two in order to get my shit back together. "Assumed strategic control?" Your words, not mine! Not that such a thing was particularly difficult given the state of that tribe.  In reality, the team was lacking in overall activity so it made for some pretty easy decisions. In fact, half of the time the most taxing part was just trying to confer and confirm a plan because nobody was ever around to do so. Samus was the saving grace in that regard. She is probably the only one from that group that I am particularly invested in continuing to work with in the future. The others are all fine but I am not convinced they are the right allies for me to have for the long haul. The swap did go more-or-less as intended, yes. Samus and I devised a plan to stay together and join with Dark Pit and King Dedede which worked perfectly. Beyond that, I didn't really care what happened. I only placed the remaining red members high on my list in case something went awry during the selection. I did not necessarily want to be on a team with a red majority like I have found myself in although I am certainly not going to complain about it. I do not expect it to last, however. My initial thought is to leverage the existing red majority to remove King K Rool and then stick with Dark Pit and King Dedede to vote out the old red members. An alliance of four on a tribe of seven, with two guaranteed duellists joining us over the next two rounds, is actually enough to carry us through to the end of the week and the presumed merge. ^ So I wrote this before I found out that Dark Pit actually picked MARIO ahead of me on his list. Excuse me? Way to nearly fuck up what should have been an obvious plan. He claimed it was to protect me in case he ended up on a tribe with me and his old green teammates and they wanted to vote me out but like... Maybe grow a spine and do what you want to do and not what fucking Wario tells you to do for once? So although the swap did go more-or-less as intended, it was actually because of sheer dumb luck rather than my master strategy which was unfortunately NOT fool-proof. I am a little bit less confident in Dark Pit now because of that and because he is an obvious playa in general. Not enough that I feel an immediate need to change course but enough for me to start considering other options. As for the cards, a bit of both? I certainly haven't felt the need to go for the shield or attack sandbags at this stage of the game, especially when everybody else is blowing their loads early trying to obtain them for some reason. The grab bag is the only one that seemed particularly valuable to me since it allowed me to extend my network of connections. I have it to thank for my newfound arrangement with Dark Pit and King Dedede, after all  I am content to hold onto my cards for as long as possible. I will undoubtedly be seen as a threat and become a target in the later stages of the game so that is when I expect to need immunity or the power to choose which duel to compete in the most. If I can hang onto them until then that would be ideal but if an opportunity arises to use them to my advantage before then then I will not be opposed to that either. |
