Hello there!  Always happy to be playing in an Arena game, especially an Aussie one, and I have to tell you: I'm having a wonderful time so far and a lot of fun.  I'm so happy to be on the active shitposting tribe.

1.  Well, Master Hand knows all about my love of Arena games that aren't open ID...I'm always such a mess in open ID.  But, anyway, I have always loved Arena format.  Which is odd actually since, in all honesty, I have never been the most dominating in challenges, but I love the constant frenetic energy that the format causes.  The drama and everything that goes along with it.  As for why I wanted to play in this particular game?  I love the format, I love the time zone, and I don't expect to be playing a whole lot this year just based on my schedule.  So, this is a perfect time for me to just go all out and have fun!

2. Honestly?  I asked Squirtle where he wanted to go and he said Blue.  It was really that simple.  I whish I could say there was some grand design, but wanting to be with one person that I think I can really trust is so important in this format.  I also found Captain Falcon super funny and felt like I could build up a good relationship with him too.  I know that I can play a strong social game and as long as I can keep on top of things I think I'll be able to build up a good standing on this team.

3. On the first day the people I felt the most potential bonds with were Squitle, Dark Pit, Captain Falcon, and Pyra & Mythra.  I also had some good starting conversations with Robin and Isabella, but I needed more time before I had anything very interesting.  I feel kind of silly, most of my opening day time was spent with me at work and unable to sit down and get back to everyone in the game.  I do think my reaching out to everyone at least once was the right choice because goodness knows that there will be swaps and potential for me to get thrown into the arena.  Any potential bond/connection is super important.

4. No enemies as of yet, but I'm sure they are lurking around the corner!  It kind of comes with the territory.  I don't think I have any real dislike of anyone on the team.  I haven't talked a lot with Ike/Marth so they are the ones that I would feel most comfortable with in terms of knocking them out of here, but I am not exactly pressed with making a choice right off the bat.  We still have another day before any real strategy talk needs to take place.  So, for right now, my plan is to build up connections and make some kind of alliance to ensure my own safety.

5. I still don't even understand the twist at all and still need to reread that thread.  I'm not going to pretend otherwise.  I'm sure that is is very important moving forward, but I'm still so focused on trying to be the social god of the tribe that doing anything else hasn't really crossed my mind.

What is the priority when deciding who to vote out right now? Activity, Willingness to return to Blue Team, general 'vibe'?

also it's pretty simple when it comes down to it. You've got 22 numbers to bid on 3 dif powers. Shield = Immunity for next round, Grab = cross-team communication and smash ball clue, Attack = help determine duel Stage choice.

You can bid 0, 1 or 2 cards, and if you do 2 they can be on dif bags. You choose how/whether to bid in each round.

In terms of who to vote out right now?  Activity is going to be important for the first vote for sure, possibly the second vote.  But I am going to have to worry about the other aspects very soon.  My whole goal is to try and get people to come over to blue, it is just that simple.  We need bodies over here on this team.

I already am looking at a possible alliance of myself, Squirtle, Prya & Mythra, and Falco and I also have a probably trio with Squirtle and Captain Falcon.  So, I have two easy votes for sure in Marth/Ike but after that?  Things are going to get real messy real quick.  If I can get some people to start volunteering maybe even next round...god it will make things so much easier.

Masahiro Sakurai just for clarification, we are allowed to create new PM chains that hold multiple people in them, we just cannot add anyone else to an already existing one. Right?

Exactly that! Making group chains is fine, just don't add new participants to an existing one, which would violate the rule against sharing PMs.

How have those alliances worked out for you? Now that you've sent both Ike and Marth into the Ring, are things as messy as you feared? What's your next move?
