The WarioWare series is known for its irreverent humour and quick-fire microgames that require players to think on their feet. Each microgame gives players a one-word prompt, and just seconds to figure out how to win. Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Warioware, Inc. stage imitates this by periodically interrupting the fight with a microgame-inspired task. Should you succeed, you get a buff like becoming giant or invincible, fail, and you're at the mercy of all the people who passed.
This duel is also a collection of microgames, somewhat like a traditional ORG gauntlet. Unlike a traditional ORG gauntlet, you won't be completing each leg in a set order. Instead, you'll race to complete as many of the microgames as you can in 20 minutes. Just like this game's 21 challenges, there are 21 microgames in total. When you begin the duel, you'll see a board containing all 21 microgames as threads. These threads are each labelled like a Warioware microgame, with just a single word, but all of the instructions you need will be in the threads themselves. Just like WarioWare, you'll need to take in instructions quickly and react fast if you want to do well.
You will complete each challenge in your duel thread. There are no triggers or answer-checking mechanisms in the microgames. If you make multiple attempts at a particular task, we will only consider the first one, so work quickly but carefully. Beyond that, this is all the information you get until you begin the duel.
The player(s) with the highest score(s) will survive the arena and, if applicable, select a tribe to return to. The loser will be eliminated from the game. In the event of a tie, the winner will be the player who reached the tied score in the shortest time.
