In my defense, I didn't realize the tribes were being picked at that time. Which was dumb. I was hoping to hop in the Ring, I hadn't really thought about where I'd go, so I just sort of panicked and picked the one that already had a few people. Oops.

...Oh, so this is one of /those/ job opportunities. Promising good work, good pay, good benefits, then pulling them away once the job interview rolls around. I'm not falling for this one again. >_>

Did no one from your tribe try to bid on the Grab, or did you put some cards down to keep your spot here? I was the only one who wanted to come, so I got in for a cool 1% card.

I'm just teasing you, kid. I hadn't really thought about what I wanted to do either but just decided in the moment that I liked red because it matches my eyes. I was hoping somebody I had spoken to during the first day would follow me but alas they did not. I guess they were all too scared I would turn into a dragon and chomp their head off or something. It's alright, the red team has been pretty cruisy so I can't really complain.

As happy as I am to be here with you both, it wasn't planned on my part at all. Nobody on my team knows what the fuck is going on in this game so we didn't do shit last round and I won this one and the other one by default. I had to read the rules in a frenzy to figure out what I was supposed to do with the attacking one before the deadline. I didn't get immunity because for some reason Duck Hunt bid 43% on it. I have no fucking idea why and he hasn't been around to ask.

Green team's similarly cruisy. The plant just occasionally sent gifs to people, and only tried to even ask a few people about the vote. Its first attempt was to target Dedede, who... was immune. And then it worked even less hard to try and throw votes elsewhere. So there's no bad blood on my end for the vote, it just didn't communicate.

I have a feeling my team's the most competent... but the bar's real low. It's been incredibly quiet over here, though I suspect it's even worse on your side of things. That's why I wanted to get in here, just to have a few more people to talk to, lmfao.

Talk about a power move. Clearly you're just not in on Duck Hunt's secret hidden plans... this is but the first of many victories for them, I'm sure.

Not quite sure what happens next over here, though. Crossing my fingers that it was just a busy weekend for everyone... but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't.

The King had similar things to say about the green team. Yoshi made it out like you were all shady as fuck but then apparently he was shit talking every tribe to the other ones so I'm not putting much stock in what he says. I actually think the blue team is probably the most competent one? They seem to have a lot of the strong social players. Captain Falcon said that they were all quite talkative and, coming from a guy that regularly blew himself for three or four paragraphs straight, that says a lot. I mean if our boy Ike here was deemed the weakest link, then the others must be pretty good, right? That could bite them in the arse in the long run though, since they may find themselves having to cut into their numbers sooner rather than later.

As for me, I could go another few rounds here and not be feeling too worried. Most of the people here are up to fuck all. Trust me, I am glad to be in here and have a few more people to talk to as well. In fact, you are the only person I have spoken to since before Mario was voted out...  Duck Hunt actually seemed like he had his shit somewhat together (at least compared to the rest of this lot) but I guess not? I just can't wrap my head around why he would do that, unless he just straight-up misunderstood the rules. The Wii Fit Trainer and Samus are alright, I suppose... The Wii Fit Trainer likes to talk about the format and strategy and boring things like that, but it's better than nothing. Samus has a bit of banter which I appreciate. DK... Let's just say he was better when he just made monkey noises and didn't try to have a proper conversation. Isabelle sent me one kinda funny message like two days ago and then I never heard from her again. I'm worried she got evicted off of her island.

Did either of you have any luck with the Smash Ball? The first clue said to unscramble the strange letters in the Day 1 threads which then read something about the odd one out amongst the background icons. By the time my slow arse figured it out (as in, Falcon and Dedede told me what the answer was) somebody else on my team had already found it. Falcon and Dedede claimed they didn't get theirs either but I don't know for sure.

Speak is a strong term. If you consider posting assorted Piranha Plant gifs as speech, then yeah, it talks on occasion.

Lmfao, don't even get me started on Yoshi. He was very transparently trying to get information to leak around to the other teams, and we picked up on that so fast. I straight-up told him to his face that I wasn't going to tell him who we were going to vote out because he had no reason not to leak it, but that we had a pretty solid plan and he immediately goes 'Oh okay, I'll tell the other tribes you guys have a plan of who you're voting!' and I'm like, fuck off lmfao. Plus, I think only 1/7 of our tribe has an egg from Yoshi, so we all know he's not going to give a shit about us, and we therefore aren't going to give a shit about him.

No luck here, though I did get in the other day, but it was already gone by them. I was an idiot and thought all the letters pooled into one for a mass unscramble, not that they were all individual words sorted to be unscrambled at your leisure. Kinda slowed me down.

Things here're gonna be kinda dicey this round. I don't... think it'll be my ass on the line, but I'm not super confident it'll be unan, and even if it is, it'll be a vote against someone who's actually playing the game, which seems like more than can be said for your tribe. 

Honestly, I'm almost tempted to get voted in just to go to your tribe and relax a little bit more. I feel like this tribe's an explosion waiting to happen. Wario's a little bit cracked, he's been trying to befriend pretty much everyone, which means someone's gonna be disappointed by his vote. Kazuya and KKR are inverses, Kazuya started opening night strong but simmered down a lot as the weekend went on, while KKR was near-inactive until Sunday, then he kicked it into gear. Link's just... sort of there, and Dedede's just pretty solidly consistent all-around. But everyone's around at least a little bit, so no inactive culling for us this time around.

Haha, yeah, I was thinking of doing something similar just to quell the boredom. With the sandbags in play it would actually be possible to plan a pretty safe trip through to the arena to the other side. I am just not sure I would care very well on another team since they both appear to be more active than mine and I would be seen as an outsider. I can’t promise you anything of course, I am only one of many votes after all, but if you did choose to come here I think you would be fairly safe. Even the slimmest of efforts would likely see rocket ahead of the others here in the pecking order. Same is true for you too, Ike, btw (Do you think he is even reading this?)

I'm definitely capable of putting forth the slimmest of efforts. This chain of conversation alone is... more than I've spoken to any of my teammates this round. A few more back and forths and you'll probably pass them in messages sent overall. And true, but it'd feel annoying to waste good cards on guaranteeing a duel this early, though I guess it's better to do that than to accidentally lose. I don't think I'm gonna try this round, but it's possible I come on over in the future. Maybe even involuntarily.

I dunno. I have a lot more I want to say, but Ike's silence has me a little on edge in that regard. But it's no biggie, this has still been nice. I, for one, am definitely rooting for you to win the duel, dude. You and the plant can co-win.

Well, as annoying as half of the benefit of this space being wasted is, there IS a silver lining in having a few hours of private communication, and I intend to get some goddamn use out of it. You were one of my favorite people in the free-for-all, and I want us to be close. What better way to be close than spilling information? 

First of all, god this tribe is a fucking mess. Wario/Kazuya/Dedede were a pretribe alliance, they all came here together, which was super obvious. They literally picked the tribe together on the minute it opened, like? Kaz sent me a message just a few minutes before the picks (which I read as the picks opened) saying I should come to green team for an alliance, which I did in a panic. Don't wanna make an enemy by ignoring something like that right off the bat, right? Not like I had a better idea of a tribe anyway.

It is soooo obvious I'm their fourth-wheel that it's not even funny. Literally, they added me into their group chat after we were all on a tribe together... where I could see their past conversations and that they were adding me as a fourth. They weren't supposed to even add to a group in progress, but it was early, they didn't realize. I'm not complaining, because it showed me /exactly/ where I stood with them.

Wario is a goddamn menace, honestly. Early into the weekend, he came to the alliance saying that Link and KKR had both offered him alliances... but he was the one who made both group chats, which is obviously a little suspicious. So he made one with me/Link/Kazuya, and one with Dedede/KKR/Kazuya. On like, day 2. And then yesterday, he messaged me saying KKR wants an alliance with him and I... which I also suspect might just be Wario covering his ass once more.

So the alliances on the tribe right now are:

Dark Pit/Wario/Kazuya/Dedede
Dark Pit/Wario/Kazuya/Link
KKR/Wario/Kazuya/Dedede
Dark Pit/Wario/KKR

And for all I know, there's more I don't know about. It's absurd. And Wario's at the center of it, trying super desperately to cover his ass on all fronts. And while I see it, I know Kaz/Dedede are not going to let Wario go anytime soon, because Wario /is/ with them first and foremost. And the only way I could even theoretically flip things would be pull together Mario/Link/KKR, which is theoretically possible, but... A. Not likely, and B. so much risk for people that aren't even that interesting. So I'm like... stuck in this web of relationships, at best I'm option #4 on this tribe, and idk what the fuck to do.

Wario has our Smash Ball, too, as if he needed any more power on this tribe. Kazuya went from hypersocial on opening night to basically vanishing except to nod along with vote ideas, Wario is socially everywhere and it's super obvious, Dedede... actually, Dedede's been pretty cool. I don't think he trusts me more than those two, but at least he's good for conversation. Link is just kinda... there. He doesn't seem like he's really got much strategic acumen, and I think he's the most likely boot for our tribe right now? But Mario could be in danger too, he hasn't left much of an impact, it's just a matter of whether or not that'd stop future duelists from coming here. And KKR is barely around, but he's actually kinda sharp when he is... he just thinks siding with Kaz/Wario/Dedede is better than shaking things up. I sort of floated the possibility to him, he /hard/ suggested just voting out Link and going with the flow, which just set in stone that I don't think this tribe can be flipped against those three.

I'm not like, expecting you to be able to spill this much information or anything like that, so don't worry about it. I just want to show you that you can trust me, and I don't really have much to offer but information. I'm in a real shitty spot over here where either I have to orchestrate a giant blindside... super preemptively. Or I can just stay here until I'm picked off if the numbers get too low, which is absolutely possible. I'm kinda just hoping that a swap comes early-ish and it doesn't come to that, but I'm not in love with my options either way.

Or I volunteer to be voted out next round, which... I'm considering. If I can come over there, or to the Blue Team, and make some new bonds, then maybe my game can level out a little bit, but it's still risky. I dunno, but I'll be thinking on it, that's for sure.

I think that's mostly all I have to say? I was vaguely thinking over what I'd say if Ike lost earlier in the day, but I didn't think we'd have so much time together. Pretty lucky to get duel results early.

I’m on my phone right now so I’m not gonna try to respond to that in detail yet but thank you for the information and I will get back to you in kind when I get home in about an hour or so. I think this is a great opportunity for us to be honest, as threeway conversations are inevitably somewhat stifled, and I am keen to make the most of it. My tribe is legit up to fuck and I’m not really feeling anyone in particular so I would love to link up with you and make something happen here. Your tribe sounds like an overplaying mess lol and I get the feeling the blue tribe is quite strong? They seem kinda stacked honestly and I think they will be a big threat later on. Anyway I gotta dash but will hit you up again in a bit, my dark prodigy.
