Subtract some 3-4 minutes for needing to reset my internet connection to post the answer, and needing to find my laptop charger in the middle. Still not great, but significanltly better than either actual dueler so I'll take it.

Squirtleqhooooooops yeah reviewed the time and I'd maybe have just beaten mario with that. Teethplant took 11 minutes which is probably what I should have been able to aim for if fully awake etc. Still, a squitleloss.

Clues so far
- There are 12 participants in the race
- They are each represented by the letters A, B, D, E, G, M, O, S, T, U, X, Z
- All pairs of consecutive letter racers finish consecutively, though not necessarily in alphabetical order
- Two vowels finish in the bottom four racers

Testing stained glass and timed myself rather than post here any more than necessary, as every time I post people see I'm online and I cbf with messages right now. Challenges as procrastination yay!
Got about 20min which was awful. Can't shake myself out of doing it using pure logic even when bifurcating is almost certainly faster a lot of the time. One day I'll have to do one for real under pressure and will probably find a different way to flop.
