Well fine. But yeah just epic to watch, I might have to find time so I can do it again tomorrow. Although green I only know about because of the spectator stands.

I think this is the end of Richter. Complicated get challenge mechanisms for the win! He had the option to test it out using Friendlies, so I'm a bit confused about what happened there.

Alright, having read everything properly now;
Thoughts in order;
R.I.P. Richter, it really sucks to lose an active player that way when there are still folks that are absent. The divide and ensuing rocks that led up to it are a heck of a ride though, so at least they'll go down as the first properly exciting thing in the game.
I guess everyone hates Mario? I'm not a big fan either, but I'm starting to feel badly for the guy, especially going in over a couple of more absent folk.
Dark Pit and Robin with a dead man walking yet again, hope we get more juicy stuff out of that. Probably won't though, not much has changed on either side in the last two rounds.
Either Dark Pit is lying to the stands (feels unlikely?), or Wario is going ssuuuuuper hard here? On the surface I can follow their logic; like Sakurai said in another thread, you don't want to revolving door folks consistently or you'll never get new people, but I'm really not sure volunteering yourself and then trying to suggest to the rest of your team they also do this for more than a week at a time is an airtight way to do it. If Mario doesn't get last and save Richter, I'll be pulling for him to get first and go green again, forcing Wario to find new pastures, because that would be funny. Either he goes to Red, where Robin and Samus have good reason to be incredibly wary of him and the rest are just kind of not there, or he goes to Blue and has to integrate himself with whatever the fuck's happening on that side of the fence.
Blue team is suddenly the most interesting tribe in the game from a behind the scenes perspective as well as publicly, I reaaaally hope Richter fills Robin and Dark Pit in on the dynamics over there while he's got the chance. Reading the thread it looks like both Captain Falcon and Pyra/Mythra thought they were on his side, so I'd really love to pick his brain.

Mario is really witty in his own way; some of his confessionals are genuinely hilarious. Red voting him in over two self-voters was super lame, but with the 3-2-2 split, he potentially could have saved himself had he listened to someone else and made it 3-3-1. I don't know if my heart could handle more ties tonight though. Dark Pit is telling the truth on Wario; they were probably the least interesting tribe last vote for the first time all game. Wario's volunteering wasn't as much kind as it seems though; I think if he'd backed out, they'd have sent him in anyway. Blue is a mess and I have no idea what happened there. Astute observation on CF and PM both thinking he voted with them; I thought he was playing a very slick game in being close to all of blue, so to see how he ended up drawing rocks duelling is a bit of a heartbreaker.

R.I.P. Richter, it really sucks to lose an active player that way when there are still folks that are absent. I wouldn't say anyone is absent at this stage. The self-votes are seemingly just genuine mistakes rather than absences. Isabelle was probably the only real 'absent' player. Ike was just quiet and got generally unlucky with his tribe and challenge.

If you get more of an idea on who's with who and how that CF/PM thing went down, please let us know! I thought those two were like the best of buddies with one another? So that was definitely shocking to see Poor Richter, though hope he's able to make it out of the duel.

So that was definitely shocking to see Poor Richter, though hope he's able to make it out of the duel. Honestly, I wish I could say I was entirely sure now! I have seen six versions of how that supposedly went down, and they're all different in some way. The vote breakdown was: CF: PM, Squirtle, Piranha Plant PM: PM, Richter, Falco I know Squirtle, Richter and Falco were all messaging quickly right up to the deadline, and the votes and card plays changed a number of times. Richter flipped his vote in the first vote 4 seconds after the deadline, and then in the revote flipped and then flipped again, so it really almost got averted about 5 separate times, but it ended up happening anyway. Captain Falcon was actually kind of on the outs for a while on Blue after Marth and Ike left; the other four originals had formed a slightly tentative core, but I think some had reservations about Pyra and Mythra for being a tiny bit less active than the other four for a while.

Thanks for the info Sakurai! It's a bummer to read about how much Richter was really playing the game and also how horribly self inflicted his own death was, but at least they didn't seem tooo unhappy with how they went out?
Hard to say what happens in Blue next, do CF, Squirtle, and Plant stay strong even though Plant seems to be a bit of a weak link comms-wise, or do Falco and/or Pyra make deals with CF and Squirtle instead?
I'm going to be really interested to read the round 3 confessionals in a couple of weeks!
