You were awesome, truly, and I hope the way it ended or its brevity doesn't sour the experience in any way. Your confessionals and PM threads were always among the ones I most look forward to reading, and to think that it all ended so much earlier than it should have sucks hard. In a world without rocks at the Final 20, you had all of the ingredients to go deep and contend for the win, and your departure will have aftereffects that will ripple through the game for quite some time. You are very missed already!

It was an absolutely iconic stint in this game, and I really hope you're keen to stick around and watch things pan out.

It is almost heartbreaking to know that had I not fucked up the start time issue I probably would have stayed in the game. But I did have a hell of a lot of fun and I'm glad to have done this.

Yeah, it took so many ridiculously unlikely outcomes for this result to happen. 1/3 for the rock, whatever happened on Blue to get there in the first place (honestly, it's still hard to be certain), plus the duel issue.
