Okay. So last round was fairly intense.

Easily the busiest day of the game so far for me. I was online from morning till night, and was just wiped at the end of it.

Holy lol at how this all turned out. It is absolutely fucking hilarious that I spent hours and hours trying to ensure that almost this exact group would come together...only for it to happen almost in spite of itself. Dark Pit picking Mario and it still working out is incredible. Robin getting picked seventh overall is incredible.

I had been stressed out over the idea of Dark Pit somehow ending up a Captain. Or for Wii Fit Trainer to use her Final Smash. Or for the Yellow Captain to pick Robin before we were able to. So it was such a massive relief when I saw our team. And then, well, you saw my reaction when I saw the results, Masahiro Sakurai

It's not a dealbreaker, though. I'm not sure what Dark Pit's intentions were. Maybe he had confidence that Mario would pick Dedede, and wanted to ensure that? Maybe he didn't like the idea of ending up on a tribe with Robin and I and potentially losing control? Apparently his excuse to Robin today was that he didn't want Robin to be unsafe if he ended up with a bunch of Greens. That's a pretty flimsy justification tbh, but ultimately it doesn't matter. I'm not going to be mad that Dark Pit has his own agenda. I still think he could be a good ally going forward, so I'm keen to pull this foursome together of Samus/Robin/Dark Pit/King Dedede.

That being said...I'm not convinced that I have power on this team, yet. If Dark Pit is the kind of player I think he is, he probably won't want to give up an inch. I need to try and force that issue, I think. I need him dependent on me. Which means that I have to try and lock down some of these floaters. And by that I'm referring to Duck Hunt, Mario, Falco and even King K.Rool.

And it pains me, because Duck Hunt and especially Mario have been pretty hard to deal with. Duck Hunt largely due to his recent inactivity, but also because I'm fairly sure he's aware that Robin and I were leading them and WFT along during the pre-merge. And then Mario has always been an enigma to me. His messages are painful, and unlike with Donkey Kong, I haven't found the right way to handle him yet. Fingers crossed that Robin has.

Falco on the other hand has really impressed me. He seems sharp, and will be the one I'll focus on the most. I need him on my side.

Do you have any insights on who picked (or didn't pick) whom on the Yellow Team?

You've commented a handful of times on feeling your activity levels are low, while simultaneously commenting on many others as also being low. Where do you feel you land on the activity 'scale'? Is this something you feel you'll need to adjust at some point?

What is your main goal for this phase of the game?
