Sandbagging

There was one very useful thing over on Blue that might be worth salvaging, and that is that we were fairly open publicly about who wanted what in terms of Attack/Grab/Shield.

Not all the time - maybe someone comes out and says I'm putting 10 on Shield and then someone else puts 15 - but that's alright cos the first person lied and actually put 20 - but at least the other six people didn't waste their cards. You're gonna need them more later on!

Maybe that's something we can do here?

Like I know I want to get the Stage Selection one more time (while I'm not duelling) so I can force the Survey challenge to happen. If no-one's gonna fight me on that, I could do it this round and save us all (bar one player) the pain of having to do it.

Or if not and everyone wants to just do their own thing, that's cool too.

Good idea, Falco. I look forward to all the double-dealing and underhanded tactics that this will allow.

I have no current plans to bid on any of the sandbags. I did enjoy visiting the Spectator Stands in the past but I am not in a particular hurry to attend them right now. Somebody else is welcome to go for it this time if they would like to.

Well I'm thinking of throwing 23 at the Attack Bag later. If I can, get Smashville out of the game. If it's me duelling, pick something a little more in my flight path.


I've mentioned to most but I struggle to be here for the vote live. I'll do my best today since it's our first. But weekdays will be impossible for the most part.

The Attack was the only card I was considering this round, but I like the sound of Smashville getting gone, so that works for me.

Pyra: You're welcome, everybody. I could have banned Smashville and I chose not to. I took one for the team, which was very brave of me considering I was immune and had nothing to lose.

What thoughts heading into the merge round? Last chance we get to discuss it as a team.

Grab bag gives the only clue to the merge Smashball. There's probably some way to find it through sheer willpower if you don't get that clue, but obviously the clue helps.

Attack is as big a deal as ever. Choosing the grounds you fight in could be clutch for whoever it ends up on. With my freebie Shield this round, I'll count myself out of this one.

Shield is possibly major. I have faith that between us we can navigate the weekend and find some new majority. But that format shifting from majority rules & one person in - to the secondary target also fighting - that might be a bridge too far even for this brain trust. And if you bid you've also gotta outbid Plant or whoever else now.. well I am considering dropping a fat wad here.
