He earned a night off for coming back to GOLD, and finally taking down the plumber. Three times that bastard refused my offer to come to BLUE, and I think he was getting ready to do it again, too.

Duck Hunt was pretty explicit with what was going on with your side of things, DP. He was not a happy Duckie! Or Doggie. Whichever one was talking. Surprised to see Sam in THE RING, but now she's gonna have to prove her worth on the TRACK. She's not in Zebes anymore, this is F-ZERO!

So how has pink been anyway? Can't believe we're almost at merge, BLUE HELL seems eons ago now.

And what did Duck Hunt say was going down over here? All I heard was Dedede complaining that apparently Duck Hunt was 'slandering us', though they didn't talk to me enough for me to give a shit. Really, it's just been a clearing out of borderline-inactives. KKR got owned by the Red majority, but after that point we worked on Robin enough for him to stop protecting his posse. Duck Hunt just ignored half the tribe and expected Red to pull him through for it, Mario barely talked and when he did, it was utter insanity. Must've asked me a half dozen bizzare questions in the last two rounds he was there. 'Are you the master of your own destiny? Are you just someone's shield? You should be getting some interesting PMs soon. Who's in a better position, you or Dedede? Who's calling the shots on this tribe?' So much of that shit, it was kind of hysterical, but. Not exactly conducive to a good working relationship. And then Samus was just near-inactive the whole time, she was honestly lucky to have survived as long as she did. And now I dunno what's gonna happen for sure, but the obvious outlier over here is Robin. Might just be that simple.

All in all, so much fucking easier to handle than Green. That tribe was a shitshow, even if the votes always settled down nice and easy.

Duck Hunt said that he was severely bullied. He said everyone on the team sent him profane and cruel messages on a day to day basis. He said that you would invite him into a group chain with the whole team, and everyone would take turns insulting him over and over again, calling him stupid and pathetic. You tricked him into bidding on sandbags, only to go over his head and outbid him. He said you would send him pictures of dead dogs and dead ducks, claiming “you’re next.”

Okay, maybe THE CAPTAIN made all that up. But something about red team green team, yadda, yadda, yadda, cross tribal alliance made in the stands. It made this vote interesting, cos we’d see if that came to pass with a BLUE vote, or not. So I guess not. Mario sounds hilarious though, love ya plumber! And bummed that Samus fell in activity, she seemed fun on the boards. 

GOLD has been a bit of a mess, not sure what Kazzie told ya. But seems each day a new person gets heat for whatever reason, being less talkative (DK), shady (Wario), a plant (Plant), or a weird egg strategy (Yosh). We keep getting duellists so it just keeps muddying the waters more and more, but also means odds of survival are good cos there's plenty of other targets to point to, so that's probably why they keep coming. Has been nice to get duellists after never getting them last week. Tonight it’ll probably be the plant again, but Marthy hasn’t been around much lately so could fall that way too. We’ll see!

Green was a shitshow? Do tell. I assume you’ve heard the BLUE HELL horror stories so I won’t go into all that again!

I did hear that rumor spreading around, but nah. Definitely came into the tribe with a slightly better relationship with the ones I'd met before, but Samus just wasn't around enough to not vote her out there. Kazuya told me fuckall about your tribe, other than him being confused about the Wario boot and that was about it. Must be nice to get duelists from time to time, I don't like this version of the game where we can't just send duelists back into the ring every time. Too much thinking.

But yeah, sounds like this phase has been weirdly simple. Almost every duelist on both sides has kinda done it to themselves, honestly, though this round's gonna be rough for us. Everyone left here is cool enough. But I'm pretty sure I'll be fine over here, at least?

I'd tell you the Smash Ball clues in the interest of gaining social credits with you, but there's no shot it's not found over there already. I missed my shot over here, too, because I'm dogshit at puzzle solving.

SHAME CAGE, sounds like fun! Bet you’d love that wouldn’t ya?

Well, wouldn’t call it too simple over here. Wario’s boot was a shocker to him and a few others. It was kind of a self-defense move, beat him to the PUNCH! But then he came back, and it seemed like we had enough potential votes lined up to not have to go after each other, so it’s guns down for now. We’re all kinda just itching for this merge to start the latter half of this game, C’MON!

Smash ball, yeah, I wasn’t coming here expecting to NAB it. Just wouldn’t feel right not to grace the stands with my presence every few rounds. The fans love to see it.

Good luck then tonight, DP, glad you’ll be okay. Planty will be tough competition for whoever goes in, but Marthy ain’t logged in for a while, and if he doesn’t before the vote it may be him instead, so they’ll be more of a fighting chance.

Speaking of Wario, I hear he's got a real beef with little ol' Squirtle. Something about him being an utter demon behind cute squirtlespeak, and I think multiple people have told me that? Which is kind of hilarious. I loved the little dude in the brief chat we had pre-tribes, though, and he's officially the only player I haven't shared communication with in some capacity, so I'm looking forward to finally getting to speak to him.

Well, I've been on a tribe with Wario. I know how he can be. So while I was surprised to see it happen /that/ round, not surprised to see it overall. He really overextended himself back on Green, I assume it was similar on Yellow.

I think I've spent... 6 out of 10 rounds here. Which is kind of hilarious, considering I only bid on the spot 3 of those 6 times. And always with comically low bids, too. Gonna be weird not getting to try and snag it anymore once merge comes around.

It's gonna be a doozy of a merge, I can tell. Kinda hoping Marth shows up so you guys don't send him in, he might be an easier beat for Robin (who we're sending in, jsyk), but man, I'm not looking forward to having to plan around the Plant at merge, when people are gonna play a whole lot more defensively.

Dark Pit is a pretty cool guy, just talking to him briefly in the stands. I like how he thinks, and I'm looking forward to talking with him after the merge. I'd be down to getting to know him more, and maybe even becoming good friends. He's the kinda player I think I could see winning the season, and everyone would feel good about it. Just a solid, friendly dude, who... haha made ya think I was accidentally posting my confessional in here! Sorry DP, couldn't help myself, THE CAPTAIN is a prankster. You're alright though.

That’s funny about Squirt. I mean, of course behind the cuteness is a sharp player, but he ain’t some backstabbing maniac, at least from where I’m sitting (which is inside THE BLUE FALCON!). As for Wario, he actually didn’t do that much to get into trouble on GOLD, I think we had just all heard the rumours and so were a bit hesitant to hand over too much power to him too soon. Maybe a bit pre-meditated, but hey, it worked out.

Truthfully I only bid to go here cos I had an odd amount of cards and wanted them even. I like a clean deck! Threw my lowest card at it, and was the sole bidder. Next GRAB is gonna be a lot more competitive!

So you’re hoping planty knocks out Robbie, eh? ICE COLD, DP! At this point I couldn’t tell ya who is going in, but one of those two. Marthy is a cool guy, but it’s more that if he can’t commit here, he’s gonna get swallowed up at merge. Feel like it might be sweet relief for him. But then if he shows up and is ready to go, and this was just a blimp in the radar, he’ll be fine I’m sure.

Merge is gonna be fun, looking forward to see how it all shakes out! Second wind for me though, and now I’m playing with BOOST POWER! C’MON!

It's funny, I assumed that once we were down to two tribes, there'd be a lot more people switching teams when they won duels. Figured that people would be more likely to be revolving doored on their old tribe, rather than a new one. But I think the way things worked out, it's ended up being pretty much the complete opposite, and now there's a decent chance the tribes end up 8-4 going into the merge, which is insane. Not that I'm especially worried about you all banding together, but the fact that it's even a hypothetical possibility is pretty crazy, all things considered.

That's fair, I've burned my fair share of dogshit cards on Grabs in my day. Definitely feels like those low cards are gonna be borderline-worthless once the merge kicks off, so might as well use 'em, right?

No, no, I'm hoping Robin beats the plant. Like I said, don't wanna deal with it at merge, even if it's not exactly a social powerhouse. Robin can do it... maybe. Definitely has the best odds of anyone who's fought it so far, if it comes to that.

I've used up my five minutes of flight, waiting on that second wind myself. I think merge is gonna start off surprisingly slow, but it won't take long to kick it into high gear. Let's do our best to not get run over, yeah?

Imagine NOT using THE CAPTAIN’s log! Couldn’t be me! Gotta keep a record of every lap, though I guess for you it’s more like a little diary to spill ya guts and talk about how handsome ol’ Cap looked today.

BLUE and GOLD could not have been more different for me, both challenging in their own ways, but polar opposite experiences. 8-4 would be a THRILL, probably would feel more of an accomplishment for the 4, but sounds like you lot didn’t have too much to worry with all ya red rubbish. Though who said we ain’t banding together?

Still dunno who is going in here, leaning towards Plant, and I guess Marthy will be merge boot if he continues to be MIA. Good luck to Robbie, but plant is pretty formidable!
