Due to circumstances that have made his continued participation difficult, Marth has made the decision to leave the game. Accordingly, he'll leave the game now and become the eleventh player eliminated from Super Smash Arena: Ultimate, and the second member of the jury.

My fellow competitors, unfortunately current events of the world mean I need to pull out of this game (don't worry I'm fine). Thanks for a great game, I've enjoyed playing with all of you! I'm now off to return my hair to its original colour, all this dye is just so bad for the roots. See you on the other side!

A Slight Format Change
Marth's departure will have some implications for the game's format going forward. The next vote will occur on Sunday as normal, with votes and duels happening every weekday as planned. This means we'll have one less round, and we'll therefore also have a surplus challenge. To adjust for this, the Attack Sandbag will now last the entire duration of the game, with the winner at the Final 4 deciding which of the four remaining stages will remain unused.
