Sorry to see you go, Pyra & Mythra!  You were fun from the moment the game started, and nothing but a pleasure to host. The friendships and the rivalries were iconic, and I really liked you leaning hard into the shtick side of things, too. I am a little surprised to see out here, actually; I think with the way some of the card plays and the duel worked out this became a logical conclusion, but before then I'd have backed you to last a while longer. Making it to the jury is no mean feat either; having people prepared to go to rocks for you in Round 3 was an all-time highlight for me, and you were a huge part of that.  I hope you're happy with how you played, and I hope you enjoy seeing the rest of them fight it out too. |

I'm sad about this outcome. It's a disappointing finish for me, and a disappointing way to go out. Logic puzzles are usually something I'm unbeatable at, but I just wasn't there mentally, and I knew that it was going to be an uphill battle no matter what.
I don't think this gives away any ID stuff, but on Thursday I was briefly led to believe that someone might have died because of me, and then discovered that I had watched another person die without realizing it, and was then forcibly deputized by some paramedics to watch over someone who was potentially also dying. I spent all of Friday and Saturday in a depressive funk, and I just didn't have anything left, mentally.
In other situations, I'd bet on myself to win almost any of these challenges against anybody else, so it's just... yeah, it's disappointing. But I think given the circumstances, it's for the best. I hope that there's a sequel to this game, so that I can try again and hopefully do a better job, because this really wasn't indicative of what I'm capable of.

Also, damn. Seeing that Yoshi took 20 minutes, that stings a bit more. If I'd had it right the first time, I'd have won this by a long shot. That's disappointing.

But, yeah, no regrets. I knew that playing as bitchy as I was was going to wind up biting me sooner or later, but honestly... once I'd set the precedent I was committed. I had a lot of fun, and I'm glad that I was entertaining to watch, because I had a wonderful time.

Wow, that sounds awful beyond comprehension. I am so sorry you had to go through that, and I really hope that this game didn't add to your hardship. I can completely understand feeling drained, and the disappointment of not performing to expectations there. Take as much time as you need away from here to care of yourself! The game will be here whenever you feel up to it. I will say, that I think that challenge was genuinely very tough, and that your time wasn't bad at all. My cohosts had a really tough time with it in testing, and they're all pretty confident in challenges themselves. |

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear about the situations outside the game you discuss here and wish the best for you in handling it all. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself because we definitely enjoyed having you The double character play as Pyra & Mythra was fabulous and watching you navigate a journey filled with such highs and lows was hella compelling. There was comedy, there was drama, strategic intrigue...we could always count on you to deliver. Things are a bit better. Still rough, and I've had to deal with a few emergencies since then, but I've been finding ways to keep busy so the depression doesn't get worse, and so far it's not too bad. |

My recovery WAS going well but then today I had to chase off a guy who decided, for some fucking reason, to make a literal torch out of a bunch of sticks and some plastic chain and set fire to it and start waving it around at people on the sidewalk. Now I'm spiraling again. I'm asking for a raise.

Wish the weird three-way banter could've gone on longer but we never had a whole heap of time near each other did we? Oh well, you were good value for as long as we got to chat, so a high quality per/bants ratio is nothing to sneeze at! >;)
