I mean it when I say that the game won't be the same without you in it, Dark Pit.  You were a smart-ass little edgelord on the face of it, but also dedicated, smart, and an absolute pleasure to host.  King of the Spectator Stands, I think you were one of the people who best understood their value, and it saw you dominate through the entire pre-merge. It's a shock to see you out so soon; only in this very particular set of circumstances does it makes sense, and the Sandbags going a slightly different way could have saved you. Thinking's for chumps.
This was one of the duels I had pegged as my worst going into the game, and honestly, I think my score was pretty damn solid. Presumably Squirtle went for something Yoshi knew he'd win at, and that score? Yeah, really, really tough to beat. At least I can relax a bit more than I otherwise would've.

As strong as this cast was throughout the boot order, and as difficult as each loss has been to process, your exit definitely felt like the unthinkable happening. You were just always so prominent and involved in hella different twists and strategies, with so many different iconic relationships...it was hard to imagine this game without you in it until it actually happened. We should've been demoning it up till the end, Dark. Couldn't make it happen.
Good banter though, and that's priceless among a lot of the pure strategy types. >:)
