I loathe the Smashballs conceptually, in implementation, in name, as two separate words indicating a painful result, and my severe lack of them. The smashballs that is, not balls that can be smashed. I totally have balls.

PyMy and Robin, I've had few contact chances and only small conversations to start. I actually messed up with Robin and mentioned a trip to the salon to dish which I'd done with PyMy, so that potential alliance could be dead in the water or a funny story. We'll see.

Yoshi is a wildcard but with a strict ruleset that can be exploited. Cagey, and a deft move that I don't really respect for it's blatant manipulation. It's a blunt cudgel pretending to be a surgeon's blade. People will bring him far and he's counting on it. I'd sooner he was out of the game, but so long as others with eggs think they can use him, it will be a delicate process getting him into the ring enough times to have it 'take'.

Pit, and Dede I trust equally as of this writing. Quite a lot, but it depends on how tonight and tomorrow goes whether that is solidified beyond doubt. That'll be their chances to either flip or stick. The only way to know for sure, is to survive long enough to see it.

Oddly, I trust KKR a lot despite only having cursory conversations and a bit o' banter. Maybe because of. He's given me only a few possible reasons to mistrust him and the one glaring flaw, his reticence to go to a challenge, means he's probably predictable as well.

Wario I trust a damn lot, but I also don't like the way he's handled a few key situations. Gloating cruelly, flipping out when I mentioned the Yellow Smashball being gone, which if he intended to make me less suspicious, had the opposite effect. It's one of those, 'we started together and work well together, but I'm not overly fond of him' situations.

Squirtle, I want to trust but twice now Squirtle has given me their word only for it to be a jelly, un-promise that he thinks will slide past unnoticed. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice... Eye-Layzur fried Turtle. Helluva funny little turtle though, and our strange little Moblo take and story-building back and forth makes each interaction particularly fun, even if I'm waiting to see when the turtle-show is gonna drop. Just a question of time, I believe.

Captain Falcon, I trust him most based almost entirely off of enjoying the company. He gets nervous easily, is boisterous and braggadocious in the main chats, but one on one he's a genuinely good dude. So long as he and I stick to our word, and I plan to, I'll want to go as far as possible with him, no doubt.

Falco is gunning for me to be the 'pink's vote and if it goes there, that's me done because my expertise is Tekken fighting, not this clickity-clack nonsense! Wario must've surmised as much and so is safe for now, and Falco seems to consider K.Rool's weakness something he can let simmer for later exploits. If Yoshi wins, Falco says he's going for that but he's a notorious liar so it benefits me none I think.

Unless Wario is able to come back around to his egg alliance idea and send two pinks home, the last two true pinks into the arena, I fear my demonic machinations end here.

You never really get past hearing your name spoken emphatically in the leadup to a vote, even hours later when you've heard so many alternate theories that don't involve you that you start to feel weirdly confident but also know that there's likely eleventy smokescreens and foggy mirrors put up on all sides to obfuscate the truth.

Either tonight is to be where I meet my inevitable end as a challenge chump, or I'll duck my ducktail hair down, go to the Winchester, have a pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.

Well, it's the morning after Mt Wario erupted and everyone is picking up teeth and nursing wounds.

I had heard from Squirtle and Cap'n previously that the moment they dared question Wario's plans/acted against them, he was blowing his top and beyond reason. I believed them, but it's only when you see it with your own eyes that you really understand the breadth of his mania and need for control. I had an inkling from much earlier with the way he responded to certain things that he wasn't a pleasant guy, but the confirmation came much more abruptly than I'd expected, and it was almost not even necessary upon his part. He was also probably lying about collecting Smashballs, what attack cards he has left, and much more in general while somehow thinking himself noble. If he plays the exact same D-Bag play he ended up doing, his issues about being 'unsafe' go right away and he still has OG green/Bad Guys at his back. Although...

It's not beyond expectations that, like myself with Cap'n and Squirtle, Dede and Pit found themselves a more preferred alliance upon their second tribe. I absolutely don't begrudge them that, and if I squeeze through tonight without a backstab or frontstab, I'll have a more confident outlook on this, currently, temporary association. Once more, Robin may likely hold my fate in her hands and she'd sooner lose me than either of her erstwhile companions. Well, assuming she doesn't lose Pit to KKR jagging a win.

Falco continues to lie to my face and behind my back and probably under my chair and in my glove compartment, but at least you know you're being played with him.

Yoshi continues to be a viable vote-magnet, riding the egg tightrope hoping someone will take him to the end purely because his rules make him valuable and his apparent challenge prowess was what he's really relying on. I actually like the dino in conversations, but I cannot respect the method if I have to choose between him and others at the end. It just tugs at my demonic anger if it were to work that far.

I request the weekend break be moved up to accommodate my stress-relief regimen!

Here we go again.

It could be a mistake but I'm letting Cap take the lead on the next D-Bag. It lets me keep some powerful cards for the more and more crucial, extra crucial, more crucial by the day, latter bids towards the pointy end. Not unlike my hair.

If everything goes as hoped tonight, firstly it'll be Wario and Robin in the ring duking it out while my core TRD/Captain Squishima alliance moves one step further towards the end. Then, if we're really lucky, Robin will eat Wario alive and send him to the Fell dimension, or whatever they call the gut of a dragon.

If not, we can always hope to send Wario back in one more time and keep at it until he either proves unstoppable or someone finally ends his tyrannical reign.

As for me, all the gutty nerves you can imagine, and I'm the one who's safe. Can't imagine how bad it'll be tomorrow. Probably better, because I get more nervous trying to protect my friends than myself in this type of scenario.
