So close I can almost taste it.

I think the play here (regardless of winner) is that he & I vote Wario to set up a Wario v them duel. That might cost me Wario's Jury vote if he loses, which is very possible. But Wario just publicly flexed a whole lot of Power, and has had a hell of a merge game. Whatever threat status Kaz/Cap had, it is suddenly reduced significantly. Wario getting by this round unscathed and setting up a [winner] vs. me duel would be a cherry on top of his game.

My hope is that I can convince Kaz/Cap of this, because we do need two.

And hopefully they forget about all my Pink connections in the sight of Wario's last few rounds here.

And hopefully #2, we don't all stab each other through trying to be two steps ahead of everyone.

I think before this round is out, I'll tell Wario that yes I am voting for him, it's the only thing that makes sense for me to make sure it's not me v him Force his hand. That working is wholly riding on the belief that he does want a me-him-Yoshi F3 here. But I do believe that so.

Worth a shot.

Worst case I duel, and hopefully the 21 I fucked up means I can choose to take the trivia challenge out of the running.

Also note to self, if I do manage to make FTC, any talk about trying to play down my threat level should be named the 'Lame Duck' strategy.

I have been in this situation before here I am this far and have been a huge threat but not known that I am seen that way. Equally I've been here and thought my game was great but in fact I sucked bad. So I am very unsure of what people truly want or not.

I guess all I can do is keep talking to Wario/Yoshi about us being the best F3 for all of us. And to Cap/Kaz about how we gotta stick together and vote Wario - his last round was too powerful and if he gets by without duelling this time then he'll not be stopped.

And hopefully, I go to the end with whoever and win regardless.

I probably shouldn't have told Yoshi that yet. Opens the risk of Wario blowing up on this vote. We've seen him play very re-actively before, but I don't know if there's any way I can sugar coat it. Why did I tell Yoshi? I guess I want to open the door to the chance that Cap wins, *maybe* Yoshi is open to a Wario vote per Cap's request instead of doing whatever Wario asks.

Like, Wario will know soon enough regardless.

In other news I have FTC speeches rattling round my head. I'm trying not to dwell on them - that is putting the cart before the horse for sure - but subconscious gonna subconscious - can't really stop it.

I don't know why I keep checking in. Nothings gonna change until the boys do their duel and we get some clarity here. I don't even want to answer PMs to the living until that happens, and they are both blowing Zs right about now.

It does bring to mind an interesting topic should I make FTC (or even before). At least Wario has talked about the impression of my 'not doing anything meaningful' due to my activity pattern. I swear, if anyone confuses the pattern for inactivity I'll cut em a new one - I'm clearly obsessed with the game. If I was living in Australia I'd have been killed rounds ago for being over-active.

I like to think I have leveraged that. I can think of at least one vote where the eventual Pink vote landed on Yoshi because I pushed it that way and then fucked off But I don't know if anyone else is going to see it that way. Robin & Squirtle know, because we share/overlap timezones a bit more than most seem to. But the rest of them?? Ehhh, I have no idea really. Could genuinely be in trouble due to that if Jurors see it that way. Not really something you can convince them they are wrong about.

It might even assist me before then, because if Wario genuinely thinks that and thinks the Jury do, then I'm less of a threat. All my Pink/Blue connections count for nothing if I've just been a passenger to the people actually in control

Kazuya may just be licking my taint to secure my vote on Wario here, but I'll take him at his word and move him from potential Juror in my favour to near cert in a me-Yoshi-Wario F3.

So I think I'm sticking with this plan.

If Cap/Kaz rate Wario as super beatable at the end and me less so, then they probably don't vote Wario here, and it'll be Wario safe and me fighting whichever. Yoshi rates my chances higher than Wario anyway. So that's a barometer of what the others will think. Kazuya gave me word for whatever that is worth from a demon in the final vote of the game

But I still gotta try it.

I am also not going to tell Wario straight-up before I leave. That gives him too much time to convince Cap - and Cap is hardly solid as it is.

I will tell him in the morning if I get back, but that's five hours away and I'm running on empty after a few nights already.

Plus he'll just hear it is nearly certain from Yoshi anyway.
