I should react to this.

I feel like Kaz would have done it, I had less faith in Cap. From what I hear so far - and unless Cap is being purposefully opaque - then it's Yoshi we have to thank for the result. Let's not get into the what-ifs had Kaz won the duel, but it seems like Wario told Yoshi to vote Cap in aims of me/Cap failing to vote for him, then he'd be covered no matter which one of us buckled.

But since Yoshi listened to Cap instead (there's some Kaz what-ifs) it's all moot.

Why did Yoshi do this? I have no idea yet. But if his answer is that he didn't want Wario to win, or wanted the game to have a 'deserving winner' or some shit well then fuck that Even if he counts me as deserving - play to win ya prick. Claws will be out for him at FTC (whether I'm repping or a Juror) if that is his answer when he gets here.

There's a lot to talk about in a Cap-Yoshi-me FTC compared to the Wario one I was aiming for. But not much point talking about it until I've won a duel or not.

I'll just say that it's definitely much harder to tear Cap's game down than Wario's. I'll need things to have happened already; like Squirtle to have gone there bitter and bitched about Cap making the last few rounds much harder on himself.

There's a small part of me that thinks a me-Wario-Yoshi F3 might well have been a walkover. I don't think that, but a part of me does. And if that's the case, I am glad that the final will be more competitive.

Although there's another part of me that says even if I win this duel, I'm about to be trounced by Cap

Keep it exciting eh?

I should save the following thoughts until I've done the duel but I can't help where my brain goes. And now you gotta read it too suckas.

In a me v Cap v Yoshi FTC, I think the key thing is to have the Jury see my game as fluid and moveable based on how things played out, and see Yoshi & Caps games as rigid and immovable. How I set myself up to weather the various storms (and there were many), whereas they literally put all their eggs in Yoshi's basket.

I think that's the key factor anyway.

Well my Jury reads were not good at all. Pit was a fan, and Robin was not. Had that completely backwards. Sounds like I might have convinced a few of them, but I really did need Cap gone a while ago.

Well, I think I win if I'd KO'd Cap in that duel. But I'd have lost the duel anyway based on that performance.

I don't think I'd change anything about my game, despite the Jury read not being particularly positive. Well maybe I'd run it in a European timezone would be about it

3:45 now. It's going to take a while to get my schedule back to something resembling normality

In truth I reckon Cap wins by a large margin but it can't hurt to have the finalists think otherwise. Crank up that tension.
