I had an ideal FTC somewhere in my head where I never once bid on the Shield all game and just controlled my fate using the Attack Bag. That's gone now. But hey, I'll take a stress-free 24 hours for sure.

I see that Richter has kept up his post-whore ways in the LL and keeps me from looking like the worst post-whore here Good man.

So, now I'm immune. traditionally a time of throwing out some crazy shenanigan plans to see what sticks. And I tend to go in for that type of thing even if I'm available to cut so what will happen today?

I don't really know what I do want to happen here next. As much as I bitch about just keeping the status quo and floating along to merge with all the socialites in tow, it's not the worst idea in the world. I don't feel like cutting Mario is essential either - I mean, it'd be nice is old Red did that - and he realised his standing and maybe snapped out of blind loyalty there - but if it happened now, they could just play it off as being out of their hands so no real strategical gain any more since it wasn't today?

Following that route would mean then, just sending Wario back. Now he is someone who could be used to mix things up for sure. But it's playing with fire to even talk to him about things judging by his past form. And going the route of lazy Susans is only all well and good until one of Squirtle/Cap arrives over here. Then what?

*IF* I was to mix things up, I think I'd look to targetting either Robin or Pit. I assume if Wario needs including then it would have to be Robin. But making a Red move at all might push Dede/Pit to want it to be Samus. I like her more than any of the other three there - but for me, her TZ sucks to start - and for everyone else, she's just been low-end activity in general. I reckon Pit/Dede would want to see Robin stay, and it be Mario > Samus to leave. Even the girls might want that. That would take away a lot of my agency here.

Do I want to drop a bomb and take out a Pit or a Robin? I don't know. I don't think so.

Better comment on Dede here too. I get the distinct impression we aren't really close. But he doesn't really seem 'close' with anyone. Just chugging along doing whatever is best for Dede at the time. That means sticking with Pit - but I don't think there's some great love there. Like my general feel is that Pit is closer to Robin emotionally, and just closer to Dede strategically.

Last thing for now, I've tried to light a low fire under Samus while I can and without being too pushy or spooking her too much. I told her that her activity has been noticed and I can see it being used as an excuse to put her name up soon. I also fessed up about the volunteering round. I'm hoping that's probably just me making a mountain out of a molehill and maybe everyone knows and doesn't care. But now there's a Blue here on the tribe it does matter. Robin already knew - I imagine he mentioned it when my name was being discussed last round. I for sure would be using the fact against people if it was anyone else. "Looks like Cap & Squirtle are doing alright over there, isn't it weird how Falco lied about volunteering? They are best buds and he's just biding his time til they re-connect".

Am I doing that? ehhhh, no? I mean I'm keeping options as open as possible sure, and I'd like all three alive over most other players here. But no strict plan I need to stick to. If they go to Jury, I'd like them to go there with a good opinion of me.

Default "Tribe" plan is to boot Wario. If not possible, then Mario.

Am I stirring up the pot about Wario not coming here in order to shake a few trees?

What does Mario think is happening in that case? (Dark Pit he'd like, but does he believe Robin will do that?)

Will Robin actually cut Mario when push comes to shove (probably yes)

Is Myrtle's name out there as the newest addition? (idk this one actually. If not, why is it not)

Maybe Robin is just a super-emotional player and my PM to him spurred him into cutting ties with Mario (oh hey look, it's all about me, funny how I manage to twist my perception around to that). He did get quite offended that I would suggest he might not be delighted with letting Mario go.

Like I just wanted to make sure that if he did plan something like that, he'd know I need to be one that he plans it with But daaaamn, did he take it wrong. I have slighted his honour.

Wario has played it nice and early. What hope of Duck Hunt doing the same when he hasn't responded to my PM.

Speaking of, I have a slow-growing fear of the connections I am burning with the likes of Duck & K.Rool. For all my efforts to try at least keep them as potential allies for later, I do believe both will need some convincing/leap of faith before trusting in me again. Plant too for that matter, although I think that was a non-starter. Mario might soon join that particular parade.

The thoughts of that possibility also weigh on my decision path here.

Ahh, looks like I'm finally meeting Wario.

He is proposing something here and I am glad for the excitement of it. It would be me & him against Dede & Pit, but who else does he think he's lutting on which side here? I will hear him out but well, we'll have to see what he's talking about.

His view:

I giggle but not really. Even though Wario would serve valuable function as a quick boot and an extra round right now, he is a far better investment for me personally if he doesn't come here

Benefits of that

-if he's a gold boot, it buys more time for Cap & Squirtle who I've invested more in

-if he makes merge, he's a common enemy & known schemer that can be an any time boot

-if he makes merge, he's alternately a player in the game who would be willing to fuck shit up if needed. Not stubborn like Mario or mute like Plant (but more dangerous ofc, for the same reason)

-if lose that extra round through his leaving and this tribe gets down to five, I get to know how much I can trust them all

Wario's thought of that as a core-four is valid in fairness to him. I do think it'd be Mario leaving first though, and who knows after that. Maybe I should be less happy to see him leave, since he's probably a vote against Pit in a crunch, but I don't see any way to get that to happen tonight.

If Samus was around just a bit more, I could try some things maybe. Not necessarily getting her & Mario & Wario together (but like, it'd be nice to bounce it offer for reaction's sake) - more some assurances once we do get to six or five. Like I think she doesn't want to see me gone - probably only closer to Robin. She doesn't have to stamp her will on things, but if she's not around even to steer it a little bit, well decisions will be made without her input, and that's bad for me.
